Dear band members, Parents, Brothers & sisters. You are invited to come along to the band's first Xmas party on Saturday 15th December at the band HQ - 7.00pm to ?????
There will be eats, games (Team and individual) Music, dancing and a fancy dress competition - all with phenominal prizes!!!
We have decided to ask everyone to bring their own drinks. However there is one proviso to this and that is that no one under the age of 18years will be allowed alchohol. Please support us in this.
Oh! by the way! we've got Santa to come to our party. He was busy but he chose to come because he likes you all!Looking forward to seeing you on the 15th.
Thank to all those who turned out on Sunday last (11th) to travel to Earlstown for the parade organised by the Netwon Le Willows Sea Cadets.
I don't think that we played really well. "But I think we may have got away with it". Obviously we need to get back to rehearsing playing on the march don't you think.
Congratulations to Cai and Nathan who did very well considering this was their first parade. We definitely need some new drummers so if you have any friends who you think might like to take up the sticks then mention it to them. Recommendation is the best form of recruitment.
In the vain hope that people might use the site for a discussion on entering the concert band competition (Gareth being optimistic?) I've set up this article for that purpose, and copied Natalie's post to the comments. If anyone has an opinion stick in the comments to this article.
Yeah. :-)
Thanks to you all for turning out for the concert at Bodelwyddan Church last night (Thursday 11th Oct)It looks as though we have raised over £400 for the Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey. I think that everyone that attended enjoyed the music and on the whole I think that we played well. (Hey, what's a few bum notes among friends eh, MR SIMON JOHNSON)
I was very pleased with your turnout and I trying to arrange some more bookings for the band.
Thanks again.
