We Need You!

Probably.

If you are aged between 7 and 117 and can make music from a tube (metal or wood), then definitely. We can teach many brass, and some woodwind instruments, and welcome all who want to have some fun making pretty noises.

We're also on the lookout for a temporary or permanent conductor, if that's your thing. Everyone's fed up of looking at my foot tapping to keep time.

Best of all, you get to see our beautiful faces every week at rehearsals.

If you're interested, contact us via the contact form on the site, or find us on The Facebook and contact one of us there, or just turn up at one of our rehearsals to listen or even just join in. We meet on Thursday evening at the 1st Rhyl scout hut on Tynewydd Road in Rhyl.

Updated photo page

I decided to upload the pictures Sian took at the Manchester competition and took the opportunity to update the rather ugly looking photos page.

Hopefully it looks a little nicer now. The dates of the photos are the dates they were uploaded - hence the images from 2010 and earlier appearing on the 2011 page.

I'll repeat what I have said before - anyone can upload pictures to the band website if they have a Flickr account. Just let me know your flickr username and I'll add you to the list of users whose photos get checked.

Competition dates

I've added the dates of the competitions to the diary (along with all the upcoming bookings) but here they are again:

Sunday 30th June - Halesowen

Sunday 8th September - Queen of the Moorlands (Leek)

Sunday 6th October - Manchester

Sunday 24th November - National Finals

Don't forget, we need to know as soon as possible who's competing and which competitions you can make.
